The Perspective

Photography

My photography work that I took with my Sony a7ri II camera and phone. Edited in Adobe Lightroom.

Finding an interesting perspective and using the composition of light and shadow to present the things that catch my eye.

Fun Sparks

Design & Illustration

My design and illustration work. Some are hand drawings, some are digital work and some are mix of both.

I like to start an idea with very loose hand sketch, and then refine it in details with traditional drawing or digital painting. I don't have a specific style, I enjoy the randomness that came out from my mind.

Art of Lines

Ink Illustration

My black and white ink illustrations. This is probably my favorite way to present my ideas. All of them are hand drawings.

Composition and details from the black and white space is everything in my drawings. I also tried to pick up unique ideas, so the story triggers people to look at the details and forget about the color.

Digital Painting

Digital Painting

My digital painting work using Procreate on my ipad. Some are my original ideas, some used photo or other references. 

Beautiful lighting and details of textures are the things that are important to me when I do this kind of art.

VFX/Virtual Production

Virtual Production & VFX working experience

 I started my first VFX job in 2014, and continued this path for 6 years. My roles including Roto/Paint artist and lead, Lighting artist and Compositing artist. In 2020, I stated my first Unreal job, and I became a Lighting and Lookdev artist for Virtual Production in 2022. 

Game/Cinematics

Game & Cinematics work experience

I got a chance to work for Electronic Art as a lighting artist in 2016. That was my first time using a game engine and learn about game workflow. Which triggered my interests of learning Unreal Engine. In 2020 I decided to mainly focus my work in Unreal and I found my first Unreal job as a lighting artist for game cinematics.

The artist

I don't believe Art indeed has class or definitions. It is the expressions of our feelings and conscious. We all are creating our unique art in our canvas called Life, and together they form the beautiful art in a much bigger frame called Universe. To me, this is the meaning of life.
